    Make sure that Workbench is installed locally on your computer. This extension is simply responsible to redirect to the Workbench URL you've entered in the config along passing the Authentication Token to login you automatically. This works both in Classic as well as in Lightning. However let's be clear: no workbench installed = not working.

    Workbench *must* be installed locally ... as explained. https://workbench.developerforce.com/login.php does *not* support such authentication
