It is probably the website that is loading CSS on the footer which might cause this. Try loading Wikipedia or any other website to test.

Really easy to set up and really effective, and it sets the font for the whole chrome. Excellent extension

Font size is set by the website, if we were to set a specific font size, all text would look the same regardless of the text being heading, paragraph, fine print, etc. I hope that makes sense.
