    I had just closed a window not realizing there was a stupid Getty popup in the background and there is no simple way that I know of to recover the window. I then reopened the browser and I reopened some closed tabs and then I hit the reopen button again and it reopened the browser window that I thought I had lost. I couldn't believe it. When it runs out of tabs to reopen then it apparently moves on to browser sessions.

    Loved it Tried the rest of them and they show a list of all close tabs, while i need simple one which open the last close tab with one click.

    A legit Reopen Closed Tab button! It works even if you click it multiple times (it will open last closed, closed before that one, closed before that one). It is smooth, does not take up a huge amount of space and works on my current Version 141.0.7390.123 of Chrome (October 2025). Under Extension settings it says: "Site access: This extension has no additional site access" - which is great, because it will not gather data on your browsing habits and sell it to someone else.
