Just was finally and utterly exhausted by Google's inability to return results that were not in someway designed to part me from my money. Full pages of nothing but product placement. Qwant is a wonderful relief

Forced to install this extension to get rid of the nag screen on the actual search engine. No other way to get rid of it according to their own support.

Works beautifully very effective, but qwant needs to address its browser and add qwant lite. Vipravacy is the best extension I've ever enjoyed, I love it in qwant browser & chrome extension I use it in Yandex alpha. Brilliant

It doesn't work, but that is Google's fault. Seems Chrome no longer allows the creation of "Other Search Engines", only site searches. Only items in the "Search Engines" list can be selected as the default, so Qwant can no longer be set as default. This is anti-trust activity by Google. Only allowed to search inside the corporate fact-censorship bubbles.
