Hi, and thanks for the detailed feedback — it really helps! There's a small misunderstanding about one of the views that I'd like to clear up: The Sources list isn't a local list stored inside the extension — it's a live mirror of your NotebookLM project. Whatever you see there is exactly what's currently saved in that notebook on NotebookLM's side. That's why: closing the browser tabs doesn't remove the items — they're already saved in the notebook and no longer tied to your open tabs; reopening the extension doesn't clear them — the list is re-loaded from NotebookLM every time; and deleting an item there removes the actual source from your notebook — because that list is your notebook's sources, not a separate copy. The views that reflect your browser are the Tabs and Links tabs — those update automatically (close a tab and it disappears from the Tabs list). So the intended flow is: collect in Tabs/Links → add to a notebook, and the Sources tab simply shows what's already inside that notebook. So there isn't a way to hide a source from the Sources view without removing it from NotebookLM — by design they're one and the same. To make a long list easier to navigate, you can use the search box at the top to filter it instantly. That said, I take your point that this could be clearer, and I'll look into making the distinction more obvious in the UI. Thanks again for taking the time to write this up!

Thanks so much for the kind words — really appreciate it ❤️ And great news: the YouTube button issue is already on our roadmap, and we’ll be adding an option to hide it in the next release coming next week. Stay tuned! Thanks again for the support — it means a lot 🙌

NotebookLM is a great tool for study and research. It has helped me a lot during my coursework and projects. Its interface is clean and simple. It would be even more useful if NotebookLM included additional features such as quizzes, video overviews, audio summaries, and flashcards. That would make it even better. Thank you.
